Kenya Government Vs Its People

In 2007 everything was going fine with everyone going about their usual businesses.

In December 2007 after the elections neighbors turned again one another. The violence was purely steered by some politician who had there own agenda.

1,133 people died and more than 600,000 were displaced. Was it WORTH it ? look…. the Government reconciled and Very very well. Remember the Pay raise?

Internally displaced person (IDPs). Each household was entitled to Sh10,000 while each family whose house was destroyed was to get Sh25,000 for reconstruction. (Surely how much does a whole month's grocery shopping cost?)

Almost three years later innocent Kenyans are still displaced. The new Sodom and Gomorrah?

The Kenya IDPs have hope in the International Criminal Court.

It was a major relief to the country when Ocampo gave the list of the Six. At last after almost 3 years, there was gonna be some answers, and someone was going to be charged. Everyone was encouraged that by doing this the people responsible will not do it again in 2012.

The Government want Ocampo to stop his investigation of the 6, WHY?

Kenya seeks AU backing on bid to pull out of Hague

Or does the Government want the Kenya People (who are over taxed, some in IDPs, some who lost their loved ones, some dying of starvation, many jobless,…..etc) to pay for the Ocampo 6 in Hague?

Public cannot pay for defence of Ocampo 6 - Please note the figure in question/disputed here is Sh4.7 billion for the 6 while only Sh7 billion is spent on resettling more than 600,000 IDPs.

And if that is not enough Five die of hunger in Tana River as food crisis bites

Bags of maize and beans have been received from the World Food Programme, while the Government is been urged to buy excess maize from other areas with surplus to stem hunger.

Questions:

1. Government of Kenya, are you working for or against the Kenyan people?

2. Kenyan people if you had known what you know now, could you have killed or fought with your neighbors?

3. The whole Humanity, how can we let the few greedy oppress the innocent multitude?

Dear God, we 39 million people in Kenya all religions and tribes fall down on our knees and pray. Please continue giving us peace and stability. Please bless and give wisdom and direction to the 100' leaders/politicians that have been elected. We pray that they will not take advantage of our humble hearts.....
